The Youngest Player Ever to Bat 500 Home Runs.
Since his first full season in 1996, A-Rod has gone on to lead the major leagues in home runs, runs scored, RBI, total bases and extra-base hits.
By age 30, A-Rod had more RBI than Hank Aaron, more HR than Barry Bonds, more runs scored than Rickey Henderson and more hits than Pete Rose all did before their 30th birthdays. He’s also the youngest player in the history of the Major Leagues to hit his 500th home run, a record previously set by Jimmie Foxx way back in 1939.
He shares the MLB record and holds the AL record for most HR in April, knocking 14 out of the park in 2007.
